Interlibrary Loan Services for Users

Are you looking for a book or article that isn’t available in the CU libraries? You can request it through the interlibrary loan service (ILL).

The service is accessible to all registered users..

Items cannot be borrowed from other CU libraries via the ILL, except for those located outside of Prague.

Loan periods for interlibrary loans (ILLs) vary depending on the policy of the external library that has provided the item

The service is free of charge.

Copies are charged according to the lending library's fee schedule.

f a document is unavailable in any Czech library, it can be borrowed or a copy ordered from abroad.

Obtained publications are available only for in-house use. A printed copy is provided to the user.

When ordering books, a refundable deposit equal to the charged fee is collected. Fees are determined by the price list of the National Library of the Czech Republic.

	Loan from Great Britain and outside Europe	450 CZK
	Photocopies from the collections of foreign libraries	40 CZK / for every 5 pages or part thereof
